  A large upgrade over Sparkle 1.1: lots of bug fixes, integration of SparklePlus?, a sampler for estimations and speeds on the download, and maybe support for bundles.

  This is the a major Sparkle release. In addition to all the normal bug fixes and minor enhancements, major new goals include:

  • A client-side Sparkle Updater that updates all Sparkle-compatible programs on the system
  • A program to automatically generate / update appcasts and to create attractive release notes
  • Support for bundles: preference panes, plugins, etc.
